I'm back... with some Redhill Show news...

Unfortunately I have been quite ill for the last 5 or so weeks so no blogging, no knitting, no gardening and very little else really.

Still quite fragile, but sincerely hoping for a return to health and vigour over the next few weeks, Mind, I write this lying on my bed (where I have spent much of my time) - thank goodness for laptops and long cords!

The only thing that I have managed to do is enter the two items, which I had already completed, into the Redhill Agricultural Show (pink socks and green mohair jumper). A poor effort considering my earlier ambitions, but the best I could do under the circumstances and I only did that with some encouragement.

It was with some surprise and pleasure that I won prizes for both - a first for the socks and a third for the jumper. At a later date (when I have more energy etc...) I will properly photograph them - but in the meantime here are some photos from the Show (apologies for the poor quality due largely to shooting through plastic).
