Hey Presto
Well not quite that effortless, but ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you 'Sheep'!
I've also started the I-cord on Mr S' blanket. It's slow going, but I know I'm going to be much happier than if I'd used piping.

Life is complicated - love, family, work... Knitting is simple - it's about imagination and creativity - about connecting with history and about connecting with my inner self. People knitted in ancient Eygpt, in the Middle Ages, on boats fishing off the coast of Scotland in the eighteenth century and today. Pretty amazing really. When I knit I relax, the rhythm allows my mind to wander. I solve the problems of my world!

The sheep is too cute!
How do you do i-cord after the blanket is done? Do you make the i-cord and then seam it with the blanket? I've only done i-cord edging and then picked up stitches to make mittens.
Sheep and blankie are just divine. The colours in the blanket are rich and glorious; you chose well. I'll be interested to see how you go with the i-cord - a lovely finishing technique.
That sheep is fabulous!
I love the sheep. I really want one or two. Okay, I want a flock of them.
